1. The service

Pictureboard lets you arrange pictures on desktops, load pictures from web addresses and share desktops with other users. The service is provided free of charge and “as is”; we may change, restrict or discontinue features and will inform users of significant changes in advance where possible.

2. Your account

Keep your passkeys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the pictures you add. You grant us the rights needed to store and display them to you and the people you share them with. Only add pictures you are allowed to use. Do not add content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others (such as copyright or personality rights), or depicts people without the consent required by law.

4. Moderation (Digital Services Act)

Desktops are private and only visible to people the owner shares them with. If we receive a substantiated notice of illegal content (see legal notice), we may remove that content or restrict the account, and will inform the affected user with a statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA). You can contest such decisions by replying to that message. Repeated manifestly illegal content can lead to suspension (Art. 23 DSA).

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

6. Applicable law

The law of the provider's country of establishment applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
